The Green Bay Way
Green Bay has never been a city that waited for someone else to figure it out.
We built something here. Not because we had the most resources or the best geography or the loudest voice in the room. Because people showed up and did the work. Generation after generation. Neighbor after neighbor.
That’s not nostalgia. That’s a track record.
But a track record only matters if you build on it. And right now, this city is at a moment where the decisions we make, or don’t make, will shape what Green Bay looks like in 2035 and beyond.
We’re not interested in left versus right. That fight belongs to people who’ve never had to plow a parking lot at 5am, balance a city budget, or figure out how to keep a small business open when everything is working against you.
Green Bay doesn’t run on ideology. It runs on people who keep their word, look out for their neighbors, and refuse to leave the next generation worse off than they found it.
We’re not red. We’re not blue.
We’re all green.
And if you’re willing to choose this city, to invest in it, to do the work it takes to make it better, then you’re one of us. Doesn’t matter where you came from. Doesn’t matter what you look like or where you worship or what language you learned first.
You don’t have to be from here. You just have to choose here.
That’s the Green Bay Way.
What We Stand For
This is what choosing Green Bay looks like in practice.
You keep your word.
You look out for your neighbors.
You invest in the next generation.
We show up and we do the work.
We build something that lasts.
You don’t have to be from here.
You just have to choose here.
Not red. Not blue. All green.
This is the Green Bay Way.

You don’t have to be from here. You just have to choose here.
What We’re Building Toward
Every conversation on Green Bay Way is asking the same question: what does a thriving Green Bay look like in 2035?
Not a political answer. A practical one.
A city where the budget means what it says. Where neighborhoods are maintained, not just managed. Where streets are safe, small businesses can grow, and City Hall answers the phone when you call. Where the next generation has a reason to stay, or a reason to come here in the first place.
That’s the Green Bay we’re building toward. One conversation at a time.
The Call
The Green Bay Way isn’t something you watch. It’s something you do.
Green Bay doesn’t need more spectators.
It needs people who show up at the council meeting. Who hire local. Who coach the team when nobody else will. Who call their alder when something is broken instead of just complaining about it online. Who introduce themselves to the new neighbor. Who invest in the business down the street.
The work is not complicated. It just requires showing up.
Listen. Get informed about what’s actually happening in this city.
Talk to your neighbors. Not about national politics. About your block.
Participate. City meetings and neighborhood associations run on a handful of people. Be one of them.
Support what’s working. Local businesses, local media, local organizations doing real work.
Hold the standard. Demand that your city government keep its word, the same way you keep yours.
You don’t have to do all of it. You just have to do something.
This is the Green Bay Way.
